Specifications for Essays
Format: Double spaced, size 12 font, Arial or Times New Roman or something similar. Avoid fonts that give the appearance of italics or cursive.
Header: Your First and Last Name in top
right corner of first page. Do not use the "header" tool in your writing
program. I cannot see it. Include also the assignment name plus the date.
Title: Give your writing an original title. Hint: "Summary Assignment" or "Assignment Two" are not considered original! Center this below your heading.
Specifications for Research Project:
Follow the guidelines laid out in your textbook following MLA format.
This means a Title Page, the body, and the Works Cited Page, with page
numbers properly formatted. Remember to send this paper in Rich Text: this
method will keep the formatting.
